Golden Corridor Chapter, in partnership with Northern Illinois University Outreach Conference Center (NIU Hoffman Estates), presents a half-day workshop "More Microsoft Office" on Saturday, February 27.  This day will feature a two-part training workshop with Don Humphrey, CAP, leading the first part in a Microsoft Office Publisher training followed by Marie Herman, ATM-B, CIWD, exploring many ways Microsoft Office programs can work together. This is a hands-on workshop you will not want to miss!

Microsoft Office Publisher Program will include:

• Start with a pre-designed Publisher publication and adapt it to create your own publication.
• Add text to a publication, and then revise, reposition, and fit the text, create columns, and continue a story on another page.
• Add a picture to a publication, change how the picture looks, and control how text wraps around it.
• Create your own Master Page and be creative with your element placement. (demonstration on how to start from scratch when none of the templates is suitable for your needs; show and teach how to be creative with photos.

• Inserting an Excel Spreadsheet
• Copy and Pasting an Excel Spreadsheet or a Word Table Creating a PowerPoint Chart
• Embedding a Chart Inserting an Excel Chart as an Object Using Excel to Create the Chart
