2008-2009 Food Drive

Hunger Knows No Season

We will collect one non-perishable food item each month as part of the admittance fee for each monthly program.  

For example, the program cost for our September meeting will be $20 for chapter members plus 1 non-perishable food item (can of soup, box of baby cereal, etc.) 

We will continue collecting in this manner and compile all contributions into one holiday donation for a local food pantry.  Going forward, we will continue collecting non-perishable food items at each meeting.  Approximately every 3 months or when donations begin to pile up, we will take them to a local food pantry.  This additional program “charge” will be included on each month’s registration form beginning in September 2008.

Of course, we will always accept more than 1 non-perishable item each month and no one will be barred from attending a meeting if you “forget” to bring in an item for the food pantry.
